Enjoy time with other members to prepare timber, have time and practice on a wood lathe with advice from John or Clinton. Share the mid-morning break with other Guild members.

Stuart Harris will the guest speaker and talk about the construction of a stand-up paddle board made from King billy pine. President John Penprase will discuss club news and future activities before our usual ‘Show & Tell’ session - please bring your recent work or something of interest.

Some Woodcraft Guild members will showcase our activities and demonstrate simple woodturning projects from a site at this large craft event, which features many textile and related crafts. The Guild’s Workshop will be closed on Saturday 4 October because of our presence at this event.

Use the workshop equipment to prepare timbers, practice your wood turning or sharpen some tools.
